№ 02
Burnt Sugar
Caramelised sugar with tobacco leaf underneath. The tobacco is what stops it being a candle.

What is actually in it
- TopCaramelised sugar, orange peel
- HeartTobacco leaf, vanilla bourbon
- BaseTonka, dry amber
Sweet at the top, dry underneath. That contrast is the entire reason it reads as expensive rather than as dessert.
How to wear it
-
Less than you think
One roll on each wrist. This is the loudest thing we make and it carries further than № 01. It does not need help.
-
Let the sugar burn off
The first fifteen minutes are the sweetest they will ever be. What settles is the tobacco and the tonka.
-
Ground it if it is too much
№ 03 Sesame Skin underneath pulls it down and makes it wearable in an office. We call that Counter Close.

10 ml, and it posts through a letterbox
Waterless and alcohol-free. Unbreakable, non-flammable, and small enough to live in a coat pocket rather than on a shelf.
Wear it with
№ 03 Sesame Skin
Put the quiet one down first and the sugar over the top. It stops № 02 shouting and turns it into something you can wear all day.

Where the sweetness comes from
We build scents the way a confectioner builds a brittle: sugar taken far enough to go dark, then something dry stirred through it so it does not cloy.
Caramel on its own is a candle. Caramel with tobacco in it is a perfume.
